Alvaro Morata's apology & Willian storms down the tunnel - Moments missed from Southampton win

It has been a tough 2018 for Alvaro Morata, but there is no doubt his goal against Southampton would give him a little bit of confidence for the rest of the season.

With his header, it is just his third strike in this calendar year to go along with a back injury that kept him out of action for weeks and then being dropped from the Spain squad in their most recent friendly matches. His frustrations boiled over in the win at Burnley on Thursday when he was substituted and then threw his shinpads on the floor in anger, Antonio Conte claiming it was because of missing a massive chance. Antonio Conte's fire is back in time for Jose Mourinho - 5 key points from Chelsea's victory He was one of the players that really celebrated after the game as well with the supporters, and it looks like he is trying to get back on their good side with some slightly turning on him. After Morata's tantrum at being substituted at Turf Moor, this time is was the turn of Willian as he found himself being taken off for Tiemoue Bakayoko. The Brazilian was already on the other side of the pitch and it seemed to take an absolute age for him to get all the way over and off the other side. N'Golo Kante's skill set is not necessarily one for being the creative type or the flair player, but for a few moments at Wembley he completely forgot about that. With two Southampton forwards looking to close him down, Kante received a pass and instead of taking a touch and looking to pass it off the midfielder dropped his shoulder and let the ball run across him. He left the Saints players completely for dead and it was massively appreciated by the Chelsea supporters who roared in delight. It was a lovely bit of skill from the Frenchman. Out of the three defenders in the game, Antonio Rudiger probably had the worst game. It wasn't like he had a shocker, at all, but there were a couple of moments of poor passing and was out of position when Shane Long should have scored. But there was one moment in the 52nd minute when he seemed to have a little bit of a heated exchange with Conte about how far the team should be pushing up. Both men were pretty animated, but everything was eventually cooled off and then the Blues team managed to carry on to get the win.
